Workshops
I enjoy sharing what I have learned about painting with other artists.
By teaching workshops I am able to share my passion for painting while helping other artists develop their own skills and vision.
The workshops are a great way to learn a lot in a short period of time. I had the benefit of some great teachers while in school in many areas except painting. Painting is complicated stuff that few people understand and fewer still can explain. Most of what I have learned came from working with other professional artists and by trial and error, lots of error! If you want to be a more successful painter, a workshop is a great start. My goal is to make painting understandable, and more fun. You will leave my workshop a better painter than your were when you came in the door.

I teach at The Vermeer Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. They offer a great variety of classes and workshops bringing professional artists into the academy to teach.
Check out their website at www.vermeeracademy.com they are reviving traditional art instruction in the midwest!

I am also planning a workshop for the Fall of 2007 in Washington state. I will post details here as things get finalized for that workshop.
I would urge you to consider taking a workshop if you need to take your work to a higher level. They are fun and intense and you will be amazed at the results.

If you are interested in having me teach a workshop in your area give me a call. Perhaps we can set one up.
